Blindluck Casino AML and KYC Policy

Every account on our platform sits inside a regulated framework. We hold licence ALSI-202502014-FI1 from the Anjouan Gaming Authority, and that licence obliges us to know who plays with us, where their money comes from and where it goes. This page sets out, in plain terms, how we do that and what we ask of you.

Our Commitment to AML Rules

Blindluck Casino operates under licence ALSI-202502014-FI1 issued by the Anjouan Gaming Authority, and our parent company Blindluck Entertainment N.V. answers to that authority for the integrity of every transaction on the platform. The Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) rules of our licence jurisdiction require us to identify customers, monitor activity and report suspicious transactions to the relevant financial intelligence unit. We treat these obligations as a floor, not a ceiling.

Our AML programme is risk-based. That means we direct the most scrutiny where the risk is highest: large deposits, unusual betting patterns, rapid deposit-and-withdraw cycles and payments from instruments we cannot tie to a named individual. Our compliance team reviews transactions daily, and as of 2026 we apply enhanced checks to any account whose behaviour falls outside normal play.

When We Verify Your Account

Verification follows three trigger points. We confirm your identity at registration, when you enter your personal details and accept our terms. We complete full document verification before your first withdrawal, without exception. And we re-verify at set thresholds, which we do not publish in full because publishing them would make them easy to circumvent. If a later deposit or withdrawal crosses a review threshold, we will ask again.

CheckDocument we acceptWhen it applies
IdentityPassport, national ID card or driving licence, showing photo, name, date of birth and expiryRegistration and first withdrawal
AddressUtility bill, bank statement or council tax bill dated within the last 3 monthsFirst withdrawal and on review
Payment ownershipPhoto of the card (first 6 and last 4 digits, middle digits and CVV covered) or screenshot of the e-wallet or crypto wallet showing your name and numberFirst withdrawal to that method

What each document must show

Documents must be valid, uncut, uncropped and show all four corners. The name on the document must match the name on your account exactly. For proof of address we accept a utility bill, bank statement or official government correspondence dated within the last three months. For payment methods, we need evidence that the card, e-wallet or crypto wallet belongs to you, because paying out to a third party is one of the oldest laundering routes there is.

How Verification Works Step by Step

You upload documents yourself through the secure verification area of your account, so nothing passes by email or live chat. Our compliance officers then review each file against our internal checklist. The process runs as follows.

  • Log in and open the Verification tab in your account settings.
  • Select the document type you are uploading: identity, address or payment method.
  • Photograph or scan the full document against a plain background, with all four corners and every detail legible.
  • Upload the file, which is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Our compliance team reviews it within 24 to 48 hours.
  • You receive an email and an in-account notification with the outcome, or with a specific request if anything is unclear.

How we protect your documents

Files travel over an encrypted connection and sit in access-restricted storage, separate from our gaming systems. Only trained compliance staff can open them, every access is logged, and we never ask for documents by email, telephone or chat. If someone claiming to be us asks you to send identity documents through those channels, it is not us; report it to [email protected].

Why We Ask for Source of Funds

Source of funds evidence answers a single question: where did the money you wagered come from? We request it when deposits reach a cumulative threshold, when a single deposit or run of deposits is large relative to your playing history, or when transaction patterns look inconsistent with ordinary recreational play. This is not an accusation. Most players who receive the request clear it with one document.

What clears it varies by circumstance. A payslip, three months of bank statements, a pension or benefits letter, a dividend statement, a property sale contract or a business accounts extract can each suffice. Crypto players may need to show the origin of the coins, for example a purchase record from a registered exchange. We assess what you send against the volume of your play, and once satisfied we close the request and return your account to standard status.

How We Monitor Transactions

Every deposit and withdrawal on our platform passes through automated screening before it settles, and anything the system flags goes to a human reviewer the same day. We check amounts against your profile, watch for split transactions that look designed to stay under thresholds, and compare the method used to withdraw against the method used to deposit.

Crypto specifics

Crypto deposits are credited after one network confirmation, and crypto withdrawals are processed within 0 to 24 hours. Because blockchain transfers are pseudonymous rather than anonymous, we screen wallet addresses and may ask you to prove ownership of the sending wallet. Mixing services and transfers from unregistered exchanges are subject to enhanced review.

What Happens If Verification Fails

If you do not complete verification, we suspend withdrawals first. Your account stays open and you can keep playing any balance already deposited, but nothing leaves the platform until we know who you are. If documents are missing at first withdrawal, the withdrawal request waits and the clock on our 0 to 24 hour processing time starts only when the file is complete.

If documents are rejected, we tell you why: blur, cropping, expiry, mismatched name or signs of editing are the usual reasons, and you can re-upload corrected files immediately. If we cannot reconcile your documents with your account, or if a source of funds request goes unanswered for 30 days, we freeze the account and escalate it to our compliance review. In confirmed cases of fraud, third-party payment or attempted laundering, we close the account, void related balances under our terms and report to the Anjouan authorities. Funds withheld pending investigation are held until the investigation concludes.

How Long We Keep Your Documents

We retain identity, address and source of funds records for five years after your account closes, or five years after the last transaction on an open account, whichever applies. Our licence requires this retention period so that records remain available to the Anjouan Gaming Authority and to financial intelligence units on lawful request. Storage is encrypted and access-restricted for the whole retention window.

After the retention period expires, we delete verification files through secure erasure, and the deletion is logged. If you ask us in writing what we hold on you, we will tell you within one month, and you can request correction of anything inaccurate. You cannot ask us to delete verification records early while your account is active, because holding them is a legal obligation, not a courtesy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I withdraw before I complete KYC?

No. We verify every account before the first withdrawal, without exception. Once your documents are approved, withdrawals are processed within 0 to 24 hours.

Why was my document rejected?

The most common reasons are blur, cropping that cuts off document edges, an expired document or a name that does not match your account exactly. We tell you the specific reason and you can re-upload immediately.

Do you ask for source of funds from everyone?

No. We request it when deposits cross a set threshold or when transaction patterns look inconsistent with normal recreational play. If you receive the request, one document such as a payslip or three months of bank statements is often enough.

How do you protect the identity documents I upload?

Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored separately from our gaming systems, and openable only by trained compliance staff whose access is logged. We never request documents by email, phone or live chat.

Can I withdraw to a different card or wallet than I deposited with?

No. Our same-method rule sends withdrawals back to the card, e-wallet or crypto wallet the deposits came from, which is a core AML control. Withdrawals to third-party accounts are blocked.
